A summer evening stroll, to feed the soul

Here in the UK summer is finally starting to show its face, well, I’ll ignore the fact that today is miserable and grey! It is English weather after all, we have to be grateful for what were given 🙂

With this, the past few evenings have been lovely and warm, perfect for a summer evening stroll.

Lately life has been a little testing, to say the very least, but were all subject to the hustle and bustle and stresses of daily life, and sometimes there is just nothing better than getting outside in the fresh air and going for a walk to awaken the sense and clear the mind.

For me being outside with nature, the smell of grass, a sunset, watching squirrels run past, it’s the best way for me to unwind and put life back into perspective.

I personally love nothing better than walking, so myself and my boyfriend decided to visit one of London’s great outdoor space – Greenwich Park. We live not so far away from here so it’s always nice to park up and stretch our legs, that and the fact it offers fantastic views over London.

There are also some lovely pubs at the bottom, right along the Thames, which are beautiful at sunset! Greenwich is just lovely and has bundles to see and do, whatever time of day you visit, including the market at weekends!

Here are a few photos which I took and think are just too lovely not to share…
